The current way to talk to the interface is through keystroke injection. Even that has recently started to show problems. In any case, you can&#039;t send keystrokes this way if the app is hidden. If you hit Cmd-H, you&#039;ll notice that the keyboard shortcuts don&#039;t work anymore.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;There&#039;s no general API to Pandora. Some things you can do through Javascript and some things you can&#039;t. It&#039;s mostly a Flash app.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Considering how the Pandora interface sucks and how you have created a way to interface with it, wouldn&#039;t it be possible to create a custom player that just sends those same commands when you click it&#039;s corresponding UI button and just hide the WebView?&lt;/p&gt;
